Garage Doors Barnsley

Installations

We supply & install a wide range of garage doors from market leading manufacturers.
To help navigate your way to find the right door for you, we have outlined the four main types (with videos kindly created by Hormann, Garador & SWS UK) that demonstrate the qualities of each type of garage door.
Up & Over
Available in steel, GRP (fibreglass) and timber, the Up & Over door is probably the most common type of garage door.  All materials are available in a wide range of panel designs and colours.  It is possible to automate both types however we would generally recommend that a canopy is best suited for manual operation and the retractable if you'd like your door to be operated by a motor.

Double skin steel panels with an high density insulated PU foam core coupled with rubber seals around the perimeter of the frame to keep the heat in and the weather out. Operation can be manual or automatic and the way they travel means usable driveway space is maximised.

Whether it is for security, kerb appeal, thermal insulation or practical reasons, a new door can really transform the way you are able to use your garage. Not all types of garage doors are suitable for everyone, nor are they necessarily suitable for every garage. For example in certain situations there may not be enough internal headroom for a roller door to be fitted due to the amount of space required for the curtain to roll up into. Equally a traditional up and over may not give you enough drive through width to get your car into the garage.

We have extensive experience installing all types of domestic garage doors and can advise the type of door that would best suit based on your requirements/structural limitations.  Of course ultimately the decision is yours and we can fit any garage door you desire.

Replacing your garage door is potentially something you may only do once, so it should be installed correctly. Just as important, is the quality of the product installed otherwise it's just going to cause you issues. We have been to far too many customers to fit them 'a new door for the second time' after the first one fitted by a different company, had failed. The company who installed it 'disappeared' and the customer was left with an unusable door that they now just wanted to see replaced.

We know which garage doors last the test of time and have solid warranties and whilst we are fully aware of the cheap brands available on the market we are not interested in installing their products because we know from first hand experience, the problems that they cause for customers.  Cheap doors can often look the part on the day they are installed but corners are often cut in terms of the quality of materials, quality of the electronics and can often lack the correct safety systems. Unfortunately there are doors on the market today that do not even conform to UK safety standards.

Our ethos is to only install quality products and finish all our work to the highest standard.
