My name is Stuart and I am the owner of Fix My Door. Apart from having an extensive knowledge of all things garage door, I am also very conscientious. I set the bar extremely high in everything I do and have a keen eye for detail.
I learnt the trade working for a small family run business based in Lincolnshire. It was very rewarding to work for a company that strived to provide an excellent service. Fast forward, my wife's career took us in the direction of relocating to South Yorkshire, not a problem as my family originate from and still live in the area.
I then started working for a larger garage door & composite door company with multiple fitting teams. Two things I observed whilst working there were, 'years on the job' does not always mean quality workmanship and customer service can sometimes take a back seat due to the volume of work. This eventually led me to make the conscious decision to start up my own business.
When establishing Fix My Door, I had two specific benchmarks for the business to maintain:
